Ip Man leaves his police career behind and prepares to establish his own Wing Chun martial arts school. His plans are threatened when a Western boxing gym begins acquiring property belonging to the local martial arts community, putting an entire tradition at risk. Ip Man must use his skill, courage, and leadership to defend the community and prevent its martial arts heritage from being destroyed.
