Robert Neville is a scientist and one of the few people left alive after a devastating virus wipes out most of humanity and transforms many survivors into dangerous creatures. Living alone in an abandoned New York City with his dog Sam, Neville spends his days searching for supplies and working on a possible cure while broadcasting messages in the hope that other survivors will answer. When he finally encounters other immune survivors, he realizes that finding a cure may be humanity’s last chance to rebuild.
